Itinerary

Depart from Australia to China’s Capital – Beijing. Upon arrival in Beijing, you will be greeted by our local representative then transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 :
Beijing

This morning tour the “Tian An Men Square”, the largest city square in the world followed by the Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace. This evening enjoy the renowned Beijing Duck in your dinner.

Day 3 :
Beijing

Full day excursion to the remarkable Great Wall, one of the Seven Wonders of the World; then visit to the underground palace of one of the Thirteen Ming Tombs, where thirteen emperors of Ming Dynasty were buried. Tonight enjoy a Chinese acrobatic show.

Fly to Xi’an, the capital city of Shaanxi Province today, known as Chang’an in ancient China, was the capital of 13 dynasties from the 11th century B.C. to the mid-10th century A.D. for 1062 years. On arrival in Xi’an, you will be greeted by our local tour guide, then tour to the Bell Tower square; the ancient city wall and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

Day 5 :
Xian

After breakfast, tour to the Qin Vaults of life-sized Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses buried with the first emperor – Qin Shi Huang more than 2000 years ago; visit the Shaanxi History Museum, which houses 370 thousand pieces of cultural relics excavated in the area. This evening we’ll have a Dumpling Dinner in local restaurant.

Morning flight to Guilin, a city known for its distinctive karst landscape with green hills and crystal waters. Upon arrival we tour the Reed Flute Cave, the largest underground attractions with fascinating stalactite and stalagmite cluster; followed by Elephant Trunk Hill, a symbol of Guilin and Wave Taming Park.

Today we have a boat excursion sailing down the Lijang River to Yangshuo with lunch onboard. This waterway gathers the most beautiful scenery of Guilin, you will find yourself actually sailing in a natural traditional Chinese painting. Explore Western Street in the town of Yangshuo. Travel back to Guilin by road in the evening.

Day 8 :
Guilin

Tour to the Seven Star Park on the eastern bank of Lijiang River; visit to a local specialty shop before enjoy leisure time for the rest of the day.

After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Hangzhou. As a renowned garden city and top tourist city in China, Hangzhou lies by the beautiful lakes and hills, showing natural, picturesque scenery. On arrival, meet your local guide. Tour started with a scenic cruise on the picturesque West Lake; then to the Mausoleum of General Yuefei and the Qing Hefang Old Street; after lunch, visit a local tea plantation, where we’ll taste various local teas.

After breakfast, depart for Suzhou by road. Suzhou, a ‘paradise on earth’, is a historical and cultural city with history of more than 2500 years. The city is also known for its charming gardens. We’ll tour the Hanshan Temple; Garden of Lotus Roots; See Shan Tang Street (a local residential area in the Old Town) by boat. Visit a local silk spinning mill in the afternoon.

This morning travel to Shanghai, China’s leading industrial, commercial and major financial centre. Visit to the Yuyuan Garden and the neighbouring ‘Yuyuan Bazaar’.

Day 12 :
Shanghai

Tour to the Bund then visits Shanghai Museum. After an early dinner, enjoy a scenic cruise on the Huangpu River, sightsee “The Bund” and Pudong CBD on both shores, which are brilliantly illuminated at night.

Today we enjoy free time at Nanjing Road pedestrian mall, or relax in one of the Xin Tian Di’s cafes. The tour is finished at Shanghai airport where your tour guide will help you check-in your return flight for Australia.

Day 14 :
Australia

Arrive in Australia. End this unforgettable China tour.
